I have​ been coming to Mercado California since I was a kid. It was so close by to home, I would walk there from home with my friends and grab some snacks and some groceries​ for home. It's a nice shop with great employees. I learned most of my Spanish​ from there LOL.

Love that this local spot is in the neighborhood. The marinated carne and pollo and short ribs are fire. And sometime on good specials. Paletas!!! Large selection of chips. And Pan.
